Fullerton College Art Gallery is proud to exhibit the work of professional artists to inspire our community. These exhibitions include the works of established artists who participate in the Fullerton College Artist-in Residence Program, the works of local emerging and mid-career artists, borrowed works of public and private collections, as well as the artworks of students attending and enrolled in Fullerton College fine art studio classes. Fullerton College owns an impressive art collection, which is showcased biennially; alternating exhibition years with the Faculty Exhibition. The gallery goal is to show diverse exhibitions that represent various disciplines in art and span a wide range of curatorial theme and focus.

The gallery is open Monday through Thursday 10am-12pm & 2-4pm or by appointment, except for campus closures for holidays. Please email chenke@fullcoll.edu for an appointment outside of our regular hours. All visitors must wear a face covering while indoors and show wristband, proof of vaccination OR proof of negative test within 48 hours. Admission is always free.

ONLINE EXHIBITIONS

Land As Kin

August – December

Land as Kin is presented as a collaboration between the Muckenthaler Cultural Center, Fullerton College, Fullerton Museum Center, and CSU Fullerton. This initiative preserves and honors the traditional Native caretakers of our land through artistic endeavors. The exhibitions and programming at each location connect past and present stories while exploring identity and place. Artists participating in this project explore and address their relationship to the land we know as “Orange County” and “California.” Land as Kin is committed to inspire and respect the land we occupy as ‘relation and not a resource,’ as Tongva elders teach.
Each institution’s exhibition will open and close at varying dates throughout fall 2021. Please visit landaskin.org for more details.
